1: “Scan list alias”

Set the scan list name, the up and down keys can move the cursor, and the return key can delete the naming characters. The corresponding letters on the HA1G Ham radio keyboard are as shown below.

2: “Scan stop condition”, you can set carrier stop or sub-tone stop.

1. Press [up] or [down] to select “Scan stop condition”, and press [MENU] to enter.

2. Press [up] or [down] to switch to carrier stop or sub-tone stop

Carrier scan: After HA1G GMRS Ham radio turns on channel scan, regardless of whether the current channel has sub-tone, as long as the carrier matches (frequency matches), it will turn on reception.

CTC/DCS sub-tone scanning: If the channel has sub-tone, the sub-tone matching is required to start receiving during scanning.

3: “Scan mode”, which can be set to carrier scan, time scan, and search scan.

4:”Transmit mode setting”

Trigger the transmission during the scanning process, and the selected transmission mode setting can be set to the current channel transmission, the last active channel transmission, and the designated channel transmission.

1. Press the [up] or [down] to select “Transmit mode setting”, and press the [MENU] to enter.

2. Press the [up] or [down] to switch between the current channel, the last active channel, and the designated channel.

3. Press the [MENU] to confirm and return.

5: “Specified transmission channel selection”

If a specified channel is selected in the transmission mode setting, the channel selected here will be transmitted.

1. Press the [up] or [down] to select “Specified transmission channel selection”, and press the [MENU] to enter.

2. Press the [up] or [down] to switch to select the specified channel.

3. Press the [MENU] to check.

4. Press the [EXIT] to return.

6: “Priority channel 1” can select a priority scan channel from all channels

1. Press the [up] or [down] to select “Priority channel 1”, and press the [MENU] to enter.

2. Press the [up] or [down] to switch to select a priority channel.

7: “Channel List”

The channel list here is the channel to be scanned when the scanning function is turned on. Up to 16 channels can be added.

The channel settings to which the scan list belongs; you can rotate the knob to move the cursor, and then press EXIT to delete the scanned channel.

8: “Hold Time”

After scanning the stay channel, the signal of the channel disappears, and the time to stay on this channel. Rotate the channel knob to adjust (the indicator light will show orange when staying)

2. Press [Up] or [Down] or rotate [Channel] to select the signaling list.

3. Press [MENU] to confirm the selection and exit.

Note:

1. Currently, a scan list can set up to 16 channels. If you want to scan more channels, you can add other channels in different scan lists. You can go to Menu Settings–Find Channel Settings–Scan List–Select other scan lists, and then scan again.

2. After setting the priority channel, scan the preferred channel first, then scan the other channel of dual standby, and then scan the priority channel once every three channels. This is how HA1G GMRS ham radio is currently designed.
