Retevis RB58 Walkie-talkie APP Programming Tutorial
RB58 bluetooth 2 way radio support connect the APP on the Android phone to edit freely.Here are the general steps for frequency programming of the Retevis RB58 using the APP.
Preparation
Download and install the APP:
Search for the APP for the Retevis RB58 officially released by Retevis in the mobile Google Play store.And then download and install it.Or you can download it from Retevis Website.
Turn on the Bluetooth of the walkie-talkie:
Turn on the RB58 walkie-talkie, enter the settings menu, and find the Bluetooth option and turn it on.
Connect the device
Open the APP: Launch the RB58 APP on your mobile phone.
Search for the device:
Click the Add Radios on the display or + in the right upper corner. Enter the next-level menu.
Click the RB58 option to start scan. Choose the devices that need to connect after scanning successfully.
Return to the APP home automatically after a successful connection. The phone icon turns blue.
If it cannot be found, check whether the Bluetooth of the walkie-talkie is turned on and the Bluetooth settings of the mobile phone.
Edit the RB58 walkie-talkie
Click the device on the APP home to read the data.
After APP setting successfully, the radio will restart and renew the data.
Enter the settings interface:
Click the device on the APP home to read the data. the APP will display the current settings parameters of the walkie-talkie. Click to enter the frequency setting or programming interface.
Set the frequency: According to the actual needs, set the receiving frequency and transmitting frequency of the walkie-talkie in the APP. For example, if the working scenario requires communication in the 430MHz – 440MHz frequency band, you can choose a specific frequency value within this range, such as 435.500MHz.
Set other parameters: Besides the frequency, other communication parameters such as CTCSS/DCS (sub-audible tones) can also be set.
After APP setting successfully, the radio will restart and renew the data.
