Frequency scanning makes it easier for the prepper to contact others in an emergency. Get help in the shortest possible time.
What is frequency scan?
In frequency scanning mode, Two-way Radio will move from the start frequency to the stop frequency at the specified scanning rate, testing whether there is a signal at each frequency point. When a signal is detected, the frequency point currently being communicated can be determined.
Why Prepper requires frequency scan
Two-way Radio requires the same frequency and sub-audio frequency to communicate. But during emergency communication, we don’t know the other party’s channel frequency and sub-audio frequency. Don’t even know if anyone is nearby to communicate. Through regular Two-way Radio frequency scan, communication signals can be discovered instantly. and communicate with it.
RA89 supports frequency scanning and sub-audio scanning
While RA89 detects frequency points, it can also detect sub-audio frequencies. After obtaining the frequency point and sub-audio frequency, you can communicate with the channel.
- In VFO mode, long press the A/B key to enter seek.
- The air signal is searched, and the screen displays the frequency and sub-audio frequency.
You can now communicate with the other party. It can also be saved to the channel.
