How to get default frequency of Retevis radios?

Not a few customers ask me for the default frequency of the Retevis radio. They need it for programme other brand, or other models’ radio, to make other radio talk with the Retevis radios they own.

In this blog, we offer two ways to get default frequency of Retevis radios.

Method 1:

Read from radio to get the default frequency. We take Retevis RT29 as an example.

Step 1: Download and install RT29 USB driver and programming software in link below:

Step 2: connect your RT29 to PC, using RT29 programming cable J9131P

Step 3: turn on the radio

Step 4: choose port inside Setting in software interface

Step 5: Click “read from radio” or “Read” signal in the top column of software

You will get RT29 UHF default frequency as below:

Method 2:

Please note default files for each model is inside each models software unzip files.

Step 1: open installed RT29 software

Click “Open” in the top column, choose “ RT29 UHF codeplug”, or RT29 VHF codeplug.

Then you will get UHF (or VHF) default frequency for RT29 as below:
