How to make RT86 series interoperable
Retevis recently launched new versions of RT86: RT86A and RT86S. Some customers will definitely wonder how these three models can communicate with each other. This blog mainly introduces how to make your RT86, RT86A and RT86S communicate with each other
1/The factory frequencies of the three models
2/Specific operation steps
The main principle is that RT86A/RT86S switches to the frequency of RT86 with one click, thus achieving intercommunication.
For RT86S: In the off state, press and hold the [PF1] key + [PTT] key to turn on the device. When you hear three “beeps”, release the keys and the channel will switch to the 1-16 channel of RT86 and the communication will be possible. If you need to switch back, restore the RT86S to factory settings.
For RT86A: Long press the [PF2] key to turn on the machine and you will hear a “beep” sound to switch to RT86 frequency. Under the condition of maintaining RT86 frequency, each startup sound will be different from RT86A startup sound to distinguish. Repeat the [PF2] key to turn on the machine and you will hear two “beeps” to switch to RT86A frequency. At the same time, each startup sound will be restored to the original RT86A startup sound.
