How to programme RT27？
RT27 is light, compact and easy to carry, no screen, sturdy and durable.
As an lisence-free radio, RT27 has a wide range of uses. It can be used as an assistant for teamwork in the company, can help communication in the farm, and can also be used on the ground service at the airport, and so on.
Retevis walkie-talkies of the same model have the same default frequency. Usually, as long as they are tuned to the same channel, they can talk directly. However, you may also encounter a situation where the newly purchased RT27 and the previous RT27 still cannot communicate even if they are tuned to the same channel. At this time, you need to programme RT27. So you need to know how to programme RT27.
How to programme RT27? Here are the steps to program RT27:
Step 1: Please download and install RT27 USB universal driver here: www.retevis.com/USB_Driver/USB_universal_Driver.zip
Step 2: Please download RT27 software. You can find the sofrtware under the support page, and please make sure to install the driver before installing the software.
Step 3: You need a programming cable C9018A.
Step 4: Connect your computer and the radio with the programming cable, and make sure all connections are tight, in good connecting status.
Step 5: Open the software and your radio, click “communication port”, click “Auto serch COM port” , then it can choose the correct port automatically. You also can find the port you need to select from the device manager.
Step 6: Click “Edit”, then you will see “read from radio”, click it. The radio’s information will be read.
Step 7: Click “Optional Features”, you can set more function settings.
Step 8: Write the date, such as “RX frequency”, “TX frequency” CTC/DCS DEC and CTC/DCS ENC in to the channels
For example:
RX frequency: 467.5625
CTC/DCS DEC:D243N
TX frequency 467.5625
CTC/DCS ENC: D243N
Step 9: Click “Write to Radio”. Then all datas will be saved to radio.
