Here is the steps about how to upgrade the RB22:
First you need contact us to get the upgrade software IAP(setup).exe and the bin file RB22-V2.2_DTMF
And then make sure your RB22 are fully charged, because it will be unsuccessfully if the power is off or shut down during the upgrade process.
1, Install the IAP software and open it , then link your radio to computer by the programming cable.
2, Holding and press the side key P1(under PTT button) while power the radio ON, then radio will enter to upgrade mode.
3,Open com port, and then click the “Open App file” to choose according name file I sent (RB22-V2.2_DTMF) , and then clic “IAP”.
4,Once the value of checksum is same as current page, that mean the current upgrade is successful. “IAP Checksum right—-update completed”
5,Then reopen the radios, and you can use it normally.
