Extending Frequency Range for the USA Version
1. Turn off your RA89 walkie talkie.
2. While the device is powered off, simultaneously press the [F] button and the [4] number button.
3. Turn on the RA89 while still holding down the buttons.
4. Release the buttons once the device powers on.
Returning to Default Frequency Range for the USA Version
1. Turn off your RA89 walkie talkie.
2. While the device is powered off, simultaneously press the [SK2] (Side Key 2) and [7] number button.
3. Turn on the RA89 while still holding down the buttons.
4. Release the buttons once the device powers on.
Extending Frequency Range for the European Version
1. Turn off your RA89 walkie talkie.
2. While the device is powered off, simultaneously press the [F] button and the [4] number button.
3. Turn on the RA89 while still holding down the buttons.
4. Release the buttons once the device powers on.
Returning to Default Frequency Range for the European Version
1. Turn off your RA89 walkie talkie.
2. While the device is powered off, simultaneously press the [SK2] (Side Key 2) and [*Lock] button.
3. Turn on the RA89 while still holding down the buttons.
4. Release the buttons once the device powers on.
