Operation of the HD1 Promiscuous Function
1. Promiscuous Function in Group Call
In group call , test that the two HD1 radio can be connected at first, then set different contacts and start testing.
Set the ID of the first radio to 3196243, save the contacts as GROUP ONE, ID: 54321, code color: 1, time slot: 1,frequency:156.60000.
Set the ID of the second radio to 7362913,the contact is saved as GROUP TWO, ID: 5566, code color: 1,time slot: 1,frequency:156.60000.
Press the PTT button of the first radio, or press the PTT button of the second radio ，the two HD1 radio can not connected.
At this time, turn on the promiscuous function of the second rdio, and press the PTT button of the first radio , and the second radio can receive the signal of the first radio;
However, pressing the PTT of the second radio, the first radio can not accept the signal.
Then open the promiscuous function of the first radio, the two HD1 radio can be connected.
In Group call, open the Promiscuous, no matter contact or group list for two radios, they can talk with each other!
But you need to meet:same TX and RX frequency,same color code,and no matter same time slot .
2. Promiscuous Function in Private Call
In private call , test the two HD1 radio can be connected at first, then select different contacts and start testing.
Set the first radio ID to 3196243, the contacts to CON 2, ID: 2345, code color: 1, time slot: 1,frequency:156.60000.
Set the second radio ID to 7362913, contacts to CON 1, ID: 1234, code color: 1, time slot: 1,frequency:156.60000.
Press the PTT button of the first radio, the two radios are not connected.
At this time, turn on the promiscuous function of the second radio, press the PTT button of the first radio, and the second radio cannot receive the signal;
Then open the promiscuous function of the first radio, the two HD1 radio still can’t connect.
3. Conclusions
The promiscuous function of HD1 can only be used in group call mode, and cannot be used in the private call mode.
