Where to find the software of RA25?
Go to the website and search the RA25 on the US site. Click “SUPPORT” to find the software and driver. They are free to download and use. Please note that before you use the software, you need to buy a programming cable C9161A first. After installing the driver and software, please connect the radio to your computer by the programming cable.
What are the updates on the GMRS software of RA25?
1. The of bandwidth Channel 1 to Channel 7 is changed to the default 25K, allowing adjustment of wide and narrow bandwidth. But they are fixed low power that cannot adjust high and low power.
2. On Channel 8 to Channel 14, the frequency of 467.5625, 467.5875, 467.6125, 467.6375, 467.6625, and 467.7125 are only reception, and the bandwidth defaults to 12.5K and cannot be adjusted.
3. The bandwidth of Channel 15 to Channel 22 defaults to 25K, allowing adjustment of wide and narrow bandwidth; the power defaults to high power, which can be set to low power.
4. The CTCCSS/DCS code of the Repeater Channel 23 to 30 is changed to default to none, the default bandwidth is 25K, and the wide and narrow bandwidth is allowed to be adjusted. The power defaults to high power, which can be set to low power.
5. Channels 31 to Channel 100 are open as DIY channels, allowing the users to join the GMRS repeater channel.
