How to set Retevis RT52 RX group list?

The Rx Group Lists control which Talk Group numbers are decoded for any digital channel.Just to be clear only TG numbers in the Rx Group List selected for each channel will be decoded, any others will be ignored. RT52 as dual band dual PTT DMR radio also has RX group list, let’s us study together how to set Retevis RT52 RX group list

How to set Retevis RT52 RX group list

Firstly, creating some digital group call contacts, you can change name, call ID

Secondly, added all contacts to each channel

Finally, added all contacts to a RX group list

Now we try to opearate RX group list with two questions

Testing radio: RT52 and HD1

1. Different group ID but same RX group list, if RT52 can talk with RT84?

A.Programming two digital group call contacts with different call ID
Retevis RT52B.programming two channels, lewis and kevin, then separately add two digital cotacts to lewis and kevin channel

B.Added two digital contacts to same a RX group list

Programming RT84 same sets as RT52, the result is what RT52 can talk with RT84 even different call ID on same RX group list

2.Same group ID but different RX group list, if RT52 can talk with RT84?

A.Change channel kevin, choose contact: lewis

Programming RT84 same sets as RT52, the result is what RT52 also can talk with RT84 even   different RX group list with same group call ID

  1. I can see other folks TXing on the channels I have put in but I cannot hear them. I have set up the way this says I think… This might help me if the pictures were there! Need RT52 DMR help!
