How to make GMRS handheld radio work with GMRS repeater?

If you have GMRS handheld radio and GMRS repeater, do you know how to make GMRS handheld radio work with GMRS repeater?

Normally, the GMRS handheld radio can’t directly talk with GMRS repeater out of the box, Taking an example for RT76P GMRS radio and RT97 GMRS repeater

You will find that it’s impossible to make them communicate with each other as the GMRS repeater has a 5mhz offset,

How to make GMRS handheld radio work with GMRS repeater

At this time, you have to reprogramme RT76P to make it connect RT97 GMRS repeater, follow me, pls programme this frequency below

For example, channel one

RT97: RX=467.55000 TX=462.55000

RT76P: RX=462.55000 TX=467.55000

channel two

RT97: RX=467.57500 TX=462.57500

RT76P: RX=462.57500 TX=467.57500

The rest can be done in the same manner

After reprogramme 8 channels by RT76P software, All channels of RT97 can work with RT76P in the first 8 channels
