How to programme RT27 in software

Retevis RT27 is one kind of license-free business Analog radio. It meet USA, EU, Canada license-free frequency standard.

Now let’s we check how to programme RT27 by software.

Same Retevis radio model no. is with same default settings.
For new RT27, just switch the new radios in same channel, they can communicate directly.

Programme RT27 when you need make some changes:

Step:1 Please download and install RT27 USB driver (USB Universal Driver) in RETEVIS official website https://www.retevis.com/resources-center/
Step 2: You need a programming cable C9018A
Step 3: Connect your RT27 with you PC, using programming cable.
Step 4: Turn on the radio RT27.
Step 5: Now we come to RT27 software interface

Step 6: Choose the correct communication port
(check in computer-device manager)
Step 7: Click” Read from Radio” in “Program” Column
Step 8: Write the date, such as  QT/DQT Dec and QT/DQT Enc  into the channels
For example:
RX frequency:462.56250
CTC/DCS DEC: 127.3
TX frequency 462.56250
CTC/DCS ENC: 127.3

(Note: the RT27 is license-free radio, so the frequency can’t change, just can set up QT/DQT data.)

When u always can hear other radio noise, u can change the CTCSS/DCS(QT/DQT).

Finally Step 9: Click “Write to Radio”. Then all dates will be saved to radio.

    Is it possible to deactivate four channels so just one is available? I only need one channel without my family bumping the knob to a different channel.

          We are so sorry for this, there is no solution to help you fix the frequency, because this radio only have 5 channels

            What about activating Scan and only choose ADD on one channel and REMOVE on the other four channels of the RT27V?

            if you want to active the Scan, you need to at least chose 2 channels

    Hi, This link is broken or no longer exists….https://www.retevis.com/resources-center/ can you advise? I purchased 3 RT27V MURS 5 channel radios and
    I’d like to know more about them and about firmware and/or programming updates etc.
    I also have an Ailunce HD1 dual band DMR radio and I’m very pleased with the customer/produce support for that radio.

    I have a set of 5 RT27’s. One radio has stopped receiving but transmits perfectly.
    Any idea’s?

      1. When did the radio fail to receive it?
      2. Are the CTCSS settings of the walkie-talkie right?
      3. The transmission is normal, can the other radio receive normally?
      4. What response of indicator when receiving?

    Hello, We bought 60 Retevis RT27 and we already have 100 Baofeng UV-5R, the problem we have is when we speak in the rRetevis we hear in Baofeng, but when we speak in Baofeng we hear nothing in the Retevis … what is the solution ??? please

      hi, please check the CTCSS/DCS.
      if you want the analog mode radios talk with each other, you need to make the CTCSS/DCS codes same. Or You can off the codes.

    I have RETEVIS RT27. I have programming cable and software. I tried programming the radio by adding scramble and tones. I turned radio on, now a red light remains on and I cannot transmit or receive. I tried reading data from radio on the programming software, but it won’t read from or to the radio anymore. please help.

      hae the same Problem as Daid has. Solid Red lED after Adjusting scramble.

    We have Rt27 22 channel radios and I bought two more. The band width on the existing radios is wide but the frequency on the new radios is all narrow. Is there any way to program more options, i.e. bandwidth on the new radios?
